Visitation Guidelines
We encourage you to plan frequent visits that last for short periods of time. This gives you the opportunity to interact with your loved one, while allowing plenty of time for the uninterrupted rest periods that are so important to the recovery process. Due to the limited size of the room and the need for work space for the nurse at the bedside, only two visitors are allowed in the room at a time.

If you have any special needs regarding visitation, please discuss them with your nurse, We ask that you observe the following visitation guidelines:

  • Visitors are allowed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for 5 minutes per hour. Visiting times may be extended at the discretion of your nurse with consideration for the patients wishes and their condition. We encourage you to visit during mealtimes to make this time more enjoyable for the patient. Mealtimes are 12 noon 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

  • Use the red phone in the waiting room to let us know that you wish to visit the Critical Care Unit. The nurse may ask that you delay your visit if the patient is sleeping or if there are other special circumstances. The secretary will open the automatic security doors to allow your entrance.

  • You may be asked to leave the patients room during certain procedures or emergency situations. Please leave immediately when asked by the staff. You will be allowed to continue your visit as soon as possible.
