Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers at Feather River Hospital provide support in various departments and services. Volunteer opportunities are available at the main campus, Hospice, Thrift Shop, Boutique and Feather River Health Center. Volunteer opportunities may include patient interaction or provide support in offices or customer service (at our Gift Shop, Thrift Shop and Boutique). Volunteer placement depends on your interest, skills and opportunities available.

The application process averages four weeks. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 100 hours per year. Some volunteer positions are four-hour shifts, while some offer flexibility with time and schedule according to your availability. Some volunteer positions, such as our Special Project Volunteer, commit to at least one shift per month.
