Cancer Center Participates in National Cancer Institute Clinical Trials

The Cancer Center at Feather River Hospital provides state of the art treatment modalities in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Sam Mazj, the Center’s Medical Director, is pleased to announce the National Cancer Institute has sponsored Feather River Hospital’s Clinical Trials program with an affiliation with Stanford Medical Center to participate in research studies. Feather River Hospital is the only hospital in the region to be awarded this status and is now enrolling patients. Patients enrolled in clinical trials have access to promising new drugs while receiving conventional treatment for their cancer. Today’s treatments are yesterday’s clinical trials.
