Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is available to any person who does not have access to adequate nutrition, due to either a personal health problem or caring for another person. Both five-day meal programs and seven-day meal programs are available. We offer four diet types:

• General
• Low Fat/Low Sodium
• Diabetic
• Soft

All meals consist of a hot entrees, a vegetable and a starch. The cold tray consists of a salad, dessert and bread. A choice of beverage is included. Vegetarian entrees are available. Each meal costs $4.90.

All meals are prepared in the Nutritional Services Department at Feather River Hospital. Meals are delivered to your home by volunteers between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. We deliver to Paradise and Lower Magalia.
